Nicole was an incredible realtor for us. She was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable about the Oakland, Berkeley, San Leandro, and Alameda real estate market. Nicole stood out for us by providing exemplary hand-holding and patience in walking through the complex home buying process, which was important to us as first time home buyers. She made us go from curious, unconfident shoppers to strategic owners. She helped us make a well thought out plan on how to attack the market, keeping us informed of market trends. She toured houses for us when we were out of town, showed various neighborhoods off to us, and got us in contact with excellent contractors, lawyers, and even a fantastic interior designer. Her rolodex was impressive! Nicole, several times, warned us, or pointed things out that could be risks in the house that we weren’t on the lookout for, and she saved us from some poor decisions while cleverly avoiding telling us exactly what to do. She is very clear about her boundaries and her responsibilities as a realtor, very communicative about her availability and when she will or will not be able to respond to a text from us, while also being incredibly responsive. Throughout the process, she called us and knew just what to say when we were feeling down about a house being not what we expected, or being outbid for a home we really wanted. She kept us on target and into an awesome house that we are stoked to make our own. We would highly recommend Nicole, especially for any first time home buyers.

Nicole Easterday represented us in the sale of our home in Berkeley CA. I can’t say enough good things about her. From start to finish she was there for us: making suggestions, solving problems and providing expert advice. Nicole knows the real estate market very well, she is astute, perceptive, knowledgeable and most of all kind and trustworthy.
The budget given for preparation of the home was honored, unforeseen problems were solved quickly, advertising and open houses handled professionally, suggested sales price was spot on, the hand holding when needed was very much appreciated. I wouldn’t use anyone else for my future real estate needs.

As first-time home buyers, Nicole was wonderful to work with. She was very patient with us as we learned about the home buying process, went above and beyond with private tours and showings, and taught us a lot along the way (e.g., how to read disclosures). She was always available to answer our questions and showed genuine care in helping us find a house than felt like home. We highly recommend working with her!

She worked with me for *two solid years* to find a condo that fit my very particular requirements for size, location, and amenities - well over two hundred properties, three bids, and one close - without a breath of impatience. We just sold our home in the Bella Vista neighborhood of Oakland with Nicole Easterday and Ruth Woodruff and WOW! What a dynamic duo! From Day 1 we had the utmost faith in what our relationship would yield and we were never disappointed. We were very unsure about how long it would take for us to sell our home and if we were going to see any return on our investment given the tumultuous market. We certainly lost sleep over it. But Nicole and Ruth came in with so much more than infectious optimism. They came in with a strategic plan to give us the best possible shot at walking away happy. Let me say, we weren't just happy, we were ecstatic and completely blown away to have received several exciting offers and a sale price that was nearly 60% over our list price!!

We can't say enough good things about what an amazing job Nicole did in selling our house. From the first meeting, she made the entire process clear and easy. She communicated beautifully every step of the way, through the preparations, strategizing the asking price, and overseeing a complicated renovation process. Her knowledge of Sheffield Village and its real estate market was invaluable and had a lot to do with her success. Nicole was positive and friendly the entire time, and the results were fantastic with a final sales price that was an absolute home run. My wife and I worked with Nicole again to sell our townhouse this month, and she did a fantastic job again in a significantly tougher market. She was our point person in Oakland after we moved out of state, coordinating pretty much everything locally. We received an offer above asking after only a few weeks. I'd continue to recommend Nicole to anybody in the East Bay.
Nicole did a fantastic job selling my condo, and was an extremely valuable guide to every step of the process from staging to listing to evaluating offers to closing. She also addressed various maintenance issues and property management concerns, and even picked up mail that wasn't forwarded. We received multiple offers above asking after only a few weeks, too. I'd definitely recommend her to anybody in the area.
We are beyond grateful for Nicole! After several months of searching with very specific features in mind and strict geographic limits, she never wavered in her commitment to helping us find our dream and forever home. Nicole was professional, tireless, and persistent every step of the way.

Nicole and Ruth did an amazing job for us as sellers every step of the way: getting the timing right, condo prep was amazing, removing all the unknowns for buyers like inspections/financing, the viewings/the offers/the close. Everything was strategic, thoughtful and well executed. Flawless actually. Highly recommend.

It's taken us some time to write this review because it's hard to articulate just how wonderful our experience was with Nicole as our realtor. Nicole helped us buy our first home in November of 2023. Needless to say, as first time home buyers we needed a realtor who could answer a thousand questions. We needed someone who was deeply familiar with all the neighborhoods we wanted to live in. And we needed someone who was patient and wouldn't pressure us into making the most expensive purchase of our lives until we were one hundred percent ready and one hundred percent sure we found a house we loved. Enter Nicole Easterday.
We met her while touring a house she was listing and we immediately clicked. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind, and had a good sense of humor to boot. Once we began working together she identified houses that met our criteria and she used listings we found to help us hone in on exactly what we were looking for. She guided us through each step for making that first offer, providing support for each required document as well as the mental support needed for making such a large purchase. Although our first offer wasn't accepted, the guidance she provided helped us put together another offer on a different house under a very, very tight timeline.
Four days. That was the time between when we toured what would become our house and when we needed to submit our offer. Nicole worked around the clock to ensure our offer was submitted before the deadline and to answer all of our last second questions. Thanks to her hard work, our offer was accepted on an amazing house that we have fallen even more in love with over the past year and a half. But Nicole's excellence doesn't end there.
She provided even more help throughout the closing process after our offer was accepted. Once again, our closing was on a rushed, two-week timeline and once again, Nicole promptly answered every question we had--no matter the time of day. When we faced difficulty securing home insurance due to the possibility of old knob and tube wiring in our house, Nicole provided us with contact information for a fantastic electrician who quickly inspected our house and provided a written statement about the house's wiring, securing our home insurance. On our final walk through, Nicole insisted on getting the seller's agent to fix every issue we spotted--no matter how small.
Throughout our first year of home ownership (and continuing now into our second year) she has stayed in contact with us and has been a valuable source of advice and recommendations. And to cap off our first year in our new home, she gave us a custom made Christmas ornament with a picture of our home to celebrate our first Christmas in our new home. We were so happy with Nicole as our realtor we recommended her to another couple and she also helped them buy their first home as well. If it's not already obvious, we would thoroughly recommend her as a realtor.

Nicole is by far the most honest, professional, kindest, and hardest working realtor we have ever had! She presented our home with the top of the line marketing and worked tirelessly to make-sure our home got the attention it needed from other realtors and buyers. She also took great care of our property so that it always presented well while on market. She was very organized, extremely prompt and went out of her way to let our family know that she cared about us and cared about doing a great job. She was very communicative, transparent and supportive!
